The Gite
Located in the historic heart of the village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, the Sainte Barbe gite is an old Bigourdan house which was transformed in 2017 into holiday accommodation for up to 12 persons. Tastefully decorated with high quality materials, this spacey house is comfortable and quiet and just a few minutes from the thermal baths and spa, the shops and anything you might need. You’ll be able to take advantage of all the facilities and services offered by the neighbouring Cascades campsite: a safe lock-up for bikes, skis or hiking equipment, a heated pool during the summer, the laundry room, plus a full cupboard and your shopping waiting for you on arrival.
As for food, when you don’t feel like cooking, the Cascades restaurant is just opposite, with typical Pyrenean dishes like the must-try garbure soup prepared by Ricou, who can also, given a little notice, prepare special menus for sports enthusiasts. The Sainte Barbe gite is open all year round, for a minimum 2-night stay, a weekend, a week or longer. We hope you’ll have a holiday to remember.
